Trader Joe’s sells whole cashews as well as pieces (at least $1 per pound cheaper than whole). Since I use cashews in sauces and dressings, pieces work perfectly! Keep in the freezer, with the rest of the nuts, seeds and whole grains/grain products.

Just a few pieces of these seaweed snacks works very well for the Zuna base (recipe in The Foodie Bar Way). Once opened, they will go from light and crispy, to soft and “stale” – quickly… so once opened, we immediately put the package into a quart size top freezer bag.
